Vision2Hire Announces Release of EEO Module
Helps U.S. clients comply with Affirmative Action Requirements
VANCOUVER (November 18, 2003) - On November 4, 2003 Vision2Hire released its new EEO Module to help our US Clients effectively meet US Affirmative Action Legal Requirements.
Designed to comply with The US Department of Labor, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) Affirmative Action Regulations and Requirements, this Module will help the HR professional/Recruiter collect/obtain accurate applicant flow data for all persons who apply through the Vision2Hire Hiring Center.
The guiding principle behind the design of the EEO Module has been to seamlessly add functionality that would allow the HR User of Vision2Hire to be able to readily take in the required data and demonstrate compliance with their Affirmative Action Plan, thus being able "to demonstrate that every reasonable effort has been made to identify the gender, race, and ethnicity of the applicant".
To meet these criteria, Vision2Hire will allow the HR Professional to collect the information in a manner appropriate to their company standard and the guidelines. This Module’s reports will provide the HR professional accurate information that will give not only the simple data but also by EEO-1 categories as a new Jobs Group and by Job Titles. This will allow the HR Professional to easily obtain the data needed to file their annual Employer Information Report (EEO-1) accurately, as well as gain accurate metrics to make meaningful sense of that data. The data and reports will only be relevant from the point of the Applicant’s Application to a specific Job Position until the point of Hire. The User, thus defining an "Applicant" as it is understood by the OFCCP, will determine settings for Unsolicited Applications.
